Dodgers fight back against Philadelphia

Get a Free Los Angeles Dodgers Home Jersey
So last week I reported how anxious I was for the Boston Red Sox and the Tampa Bay Rays to get into a fight like they did back in July. But to my surprise, it was the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies who got heated in Sunday nights game. However, no punches or ejections were made.

The stadium began to clear out in the third inning after Hiroki Kuroda threw a pitch over Shane Victorino's head, striking back for a pitch that went behind Manny Ramirez in Game 2.

"We just want to play the game right," Ramirez said. "We're a team and we need to protect each other. I wasn't trying to get anybody. I was there just in case anything happened. I just wanted to go out there and protect my teammates. I don't fight nobody. I'm a lover."

Final score: Dodgers 7, Phillies 2
